Herzing University has been providing quality education since 1965. Originally founded to teach computer skills, it has added programs in business and technology, including Bachelor degree programs. The school is dedicated to helping students meet their career goals by combining specific training in their field with useful general education courses. Recently, the school began offering some of its bachelor degree programs online.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
The Bachelor degree in Business Administration prepares students for management positions in a variety of fields. Students learn essential business skills, including accounting, marketing, sales, and management, and then can choose an elective track focused on the needs of a specific industry. Elective tracks include business management, and accounting. Offered at all campuses, as well as online.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
The BSCS program at Herzing prepares graduates for positions supporting or implementing information technology or information management. Students can choose from two tracks -- software engineering and networking. In the software engineering track, students learn object oriented programming, databases, and testing and security procedures. Electives allow students to learn specific languages or Internet development systems. In the networking track, students learn the Novell and Microsoft network operating environments, and can choose from electives in database development, routers and switches, firewall security, or wide-area networks. All students take core courses in information systems security and management, along with general education material.
This program is not offered at the Minneapolis or Toledo campuses. The Software Engineering track is also offered online.
Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Public Safety - Criminal Justice
More than just a Criminal Justice program, the BS in Homeland Security and Public Safety degree provides training in law enforcement, fire protection, and security. In addition to courses on criminal justice, criminology, and corrections, students learn about emergency preparedness, fire prevention and response, domestic and international terrorism, and computer crime.
This program is offered at the Madison, Wisconsin campus.
Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design
Core courses in this degree program present the theories of graphic design, including typography, illustration, and color theory. While much of the core coursework deals with designing for the print environment, students also learn to create projects for web and online applications. Upon graduation, students have a portfolio of their work to present to prospective employers.
This program is only offered at the Wisconsin campuses.
Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies
The Legal Studies program combines training in business and the principles of the law. Courses include Legal Research, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, and Law Office Procedures. Business courses include Accounting, Marketing and Sales, Organizational Behavior, and Project Management. Offered at all campuses except Birmingham, Toledo and Kenosha, as well as online.
Bachelor of Science in Technology Management
This program provides instruction in business processes and methods, and is designed to allow graduates to move into management positions. Core courses include project management, decision making, and team development. Students can choose from concentrations in Computer Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Networking & Security, Computer Science, or Drafting and Design Technology. Offered at campus locations except for Brookfield, and online.
